Rudra Sagar Seva Sansthan is an independent, non-governmental and non-profit organization registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Established on 11th January 2018 and headquartered in Buxar, Bihar, the organization is committed to promoting sustainable development, social welfare and community empowerment through grassroots initiatives and people-centered programs.
The organization works in the areas of environmental protection, education, healthcare, sanitation, women empowerment and livelihood development with a focus on improving the quality of life of underprivileged and marginalized communities. Through continuous social and environmental efforts, Rudra Sagar Seva Sansthan aims to create a healthier, educated and self-reliant society.
Rudra Sagar has actively undertaken plantation drives with more than 1,000 trees planted and has set a target of planting 50,000 trees by 2030 to support environmental sustainability. The organization also conducts social welfare activities such as Samuh Laguna (Mass Marriage Programmes), collective Yagypavit Sanskar ceremonies, and the distribution of drinking water and temporary shelter facilities for travelers during the summer season.
In the field of education, the organization supports nearly 250 schools by promoting sanitation and hygiene awareness within school premises.
Women empowerment remains a key priority, with skill development and self-employment training programs in tailoring, marketing and small-scale manufacturing. Sewing machines have also been distributed to economically disadvantaged women to support financial independence and sustainable livelihoods.
We take special pride in our mass marriage program, which provides economically weak families with the support they need to conduct dignified weddings. This initiative not only eases financial burdens but also strengthens the fabric of unity, cooperation, and social responsibility in our communities.
